I have been here at Crestworth Elementary for 8 ½ years and counting.
“Crestworth Elementary, where all children can learn and succeed,” is our mission statement. With this statement in place, it is inevitable that collectively, there are high expectations set for all students. Likewise, I have very high expectations for each and every student that walks through my classroom door. It is my belief that everyone has a role to play in the educational process. No one person can do it all; therefore, we are members of one team. As a teacher, I will strive to create a warm, positive and interactive learning environment, in which students are eager to learn. I will embrace each day as a new opportunity to do my best, not only to teach, but to reach every student. I expect the same from each student. I expect them to come ready and prepared to learn and ready to DO THEIR BEST!! This includes following the classroom rules that have been set, paying attention during instruction time and working together collaboratively when necessary. If everyone does their part, together we can and we will meet and exceed our goals.
